Alliance Bank extends Flood Relief Assistance to Customers

Kuala Lumpur, 19 September 2025 - In response to the recent floods that have affected several states nationwide, Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (“Alliance Bank” or the “Bank”) today announced that it will be offering a Flood Relief Assistance programme to help ease the financial burden faced by its customers and employees.

The assistance comprises options of a loan moratorium of up to six months, loan repayment modifications, and waivers of fee and charges for customers and businesses that have been affected by the flood situation.

“As The Bank For Life, Alliance Bank stands by our customers, and we are concerned on the well-being of the customers and employees affected by the situation. We understand the emotional and financial strain on the families and businesses impacted by the flood. We hope that the Flood Relief Assistance programme will help ease some of their financial burden and encourage them to come forward to discuss how we can provide further support,” said Mr. Kellee Kam, Group Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank.

The Flood Relief Assistance is now open for application from now until 17 October 2025. It offers payment relief on all conventional loans and Islamic financing facilities. The Bank will also waive fees and charges for selected services such as replacement of debit card, ATM cards, cheque books and passbooks lost or damaged during the flood.
