At Alliance Bank, you can opt for an ad-hoc internship application or be part of our annual Structured Internship Programme.

Ad-hoc Internship

Our Ad-hoc internship is for students who would like to intern during their semester break or if required by their college/university. Students will be exposed to actual work scenarios in this programme, including work shadowing and on-the-job training.


Structured Internship Programme

Our 10-week Structured Internship Programme offers tertiary students hands-on working experience and valuable exposure to the real working environment. The annual intake period is between July to September.

The Programme kicks off with an induction session for interns, followed by a 9-week attachment with a specific business or support function at the Head Office. You will be assigned to assist in short-term business-related projects.

Aside from assigned business attachments, you will participate in a week of non-attachment activities such as career talks by business leaders, branch visits and group case studies.

The internship programme serves as a solid platform in supporting students and graduates with calibre and interest to pursue a career in the financial services industry. We also leverage this platform to identify potential talents among final year students for our Alliance Bank Management Trainee (MT) programme.

Alliance Bank’s 12-month Management Trainee programme is designed to nurture young talents to become future leaders in the financial services industry.

The Bank carefully considers a trainee’s interests, personality, aptitude and strengths when determining fit at the organisation. This is to optimise their learning experience with the Bank.

Job Rotation

You will be rotated throughout the Bank’s various divisions to develop a breadth of experience and evolve and expand your thinking and understanding of the different aspects of banking operations. Projects will be assigned to accelerate learning, enhance your skills and knowledge, and develop your critical thinking ability, leadership skills, and adaptability to change.
