Announcement

Please be informed that a recent voice message circulating on WhatsApp, which claimed that 400 Alliance Bank employees were at a local hospital in Batu Pahat to get their quarantine bracelets, is false.

On 24 July 2021, one of our security guards at the Batu Pahat branch had tested positive for COVID-19. Per the Standard Operating Procedure, all eleven (11) of our Batu Pahat branch employees underwent COVID-19 testing and tested negative in their first test. They were then required to get their quarantine bracelets at a local hospital. All our branch employees are currently quarantined at home and pending their second test on 29 July 2021.

We have temporarily closed the Batu Pahat branch from 26 July 2021 until further notice for deep cleaning and sanitisation. Rest assured that we take every precaution to protect the health of our customers and employees. All our branches are cleaned and wiped down twice a day. To minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission, we encourage our customers to book an appointment via the corporate website before visiting the branch for new account opening.
