FAQs about Alliance Biz-Xpress Card

It is a business debit card. You can have the option to choose which business package you would like to subscribe, whether ATM and Deposit or solely Deposit function.

Business Package Features/Functionality
Deposit only
  • Restricted to deposit function via the Cash Deposit Machines and Cheque Express Machines only.
Full Access High Limit
  • Supports full account enquiry and cash withdrawal function via ATM, as well as deposit function via the Cash Deposit Machines and Cheque Express Machines.
  • Accepted for MyDebit payment in Malaysia only at merchants that accept MyDebit.
  • Accepted for Mastercard Debit payment at merchants that accept Mastercard Debit.
  • Accepted for e-commerce.
  • Cash withdrawal limit per card:
    • Daily Maximum: RM8,000 per card.
    • Monthly Maximum: RM30,000 per card.

Follow these steps to make convenient, cashless transactions.

STEP 1
LOOK for retailers with the MyDebit and Mastercard logos.

Note: The retailers will choose to accept and process payment via their chosen network.

STEP 2
CHOOSE your payment method:
Contactless for transactions up to RM250;
OR
Enter your 6-digit PIN for transactions of any amount.

STEP 3
If you choose to perform a contactless payment,

  • Look for the universal contactless symbol when paying.
  • Ensure the correct transaction amount is displayed on the contactless reader.
  • Tap you Biz-Xpress Card against the contactless reader.
  • A receipt will be issued upon successful transaction when the transaction is approved.
    (No signature/PIN required)

OR

If you choose to perform payment with a PIN,

  • Present your Biz-Xpress Card for payment.
  • The POS terminal will display the transaction amount. Ensure the correct transaction amount is displayed.
  • Enter your 6-digit PIN when prompted by the POS terminal. Once your PIN is confirmed, a receipt will be issued upon successful transaction. (The same PIN as your ATM PIN)

Note: From 1 July 2017, signatures will no longer be accepted when you use your Biz-Xpress Card for local transactions. For more information, please contact our Business Banking Contact Centre at 1-300-80-3388.

Yes, there is a minimal charge imposed as below:

Card Issuance /Annual Fee: RM8.00 per card
Card Replacement Fee: RM8.00 per card

Unless otherwise specified herein, our charges exclude any current taxes and future taxes that may be imposed, under the relevant legislation. Upon the effective date of implementation of any such taxes in the future and wherever applicable, we will be entitled to recover such taxes from you.

No limit on the number of cards to be requested

Maximum of 6 accounts can be linked to a single Biz-Xpress Card.

There will not be any charges involved.

Important Info

You will receive SMS alerts on transactions made on your Biz-Xpress Card. This helps you to track movements in your account and safeguard you against any unauthorised transactions. If you wish to set a preferred threshold amount for transaction alerts, visit any Alliance Bank branch or call our Business Banking Contact Centre at 1300-80-3388.

Note: The transaction alert can be disabled. However, we strongly encourage you not to disable the alerts to safeguard yourself against any unauthorised transactions.

  • Your Biz-Xpress Card with CIRRUS symbol on it can be used to withdraw cash at any overseas ATM that displays the CIRRUS logo

You will be liable for unauthorised card-present transaction(s) which require PIN and signature verification or use of your contactless Biz-Xpress Card(s) if you have:

  • acted fraudulently;
  • delayed in notifying the Bank immediately after having discovered the loss or unauthorised use of your Biz-Xpress Card;
  • voluntarily disclosed PIN to another person;
  • recorded the PIN on your Biz-Xpress Card, or on anything kept in close proximity with the Card;
  • left your Biz-Xpress Card or an item containing the card unattended in places visible and accessible to others; or
  • voluntarily allowed another person to use your Biz-Xpress Card.

  1. Abide by the Terms and Conditions for the use of Biz-Xpress Card.
  2. Take reasonable steps to keep your Biz-Xpress Card and PIN secure at all times, including at your place of residence. These include not:
    1. Disclosing your Biz-Xpress Card details or PIN to any other person,
    2. Writing down the PIN on your Biz-Xpress Card, or on anything kept in close proximity with the card,
    3. Using the PIN selected from your birth date, identity card, passport, driving license or contact numbers, and
    4. Allowing any other person to use your Biz-Xpress Card and PIN
  3. Notify the Bank as soon as reasonably practicable after having discovered that your Biz-Xpress Card is lost, stolen, an unauthorised transaction had occurred or your PIN may have been compromised.
  4. Notify the Bank immediately upon receiving short message service (SMS) transaction alert if the transaction was unauthorised.
  5. Notify the Bank immediately of any change in your contact number.
  6. Use your Biz-Xpress Card responsibly and not for unlawful activity.
  7. Check your account statement and report any discrepancy without undue delay.
