Kuala Lumpur, 28 November 2025 - In its effort to alleviate the financial burden of flood victims, Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (“Alliance Bank” or the “Bank”) today announced that it will be offering a Flood Relief Assistance comprising options of a loan moratorium of up to six months, loan repayment modifications, and waivers of fee and charges for customers and businesses that have been affected by the flood situation.
“In the wake of the recent floods, our priority is to stand with the communities we serve. As The Bank For Life, Alliance Bank is here to support our customers and employees impacted by the flood. We encourage them to come forward and apply for our Flood Relief Assistance programme that will help ease some of their financial burden” said Mr. Kellee Kam, Group Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank.
The Flood Relief Assistance is now open for application from now until 27 December. It offers payment relief on all conventional loans and Islamic financing facilities. The Bank will also waive fees and charges for selected services such as replacement of debit card, ATM cards, cheque books and passbooks lost or damaged during the flood.
