Payment Relief Assistance

Alliance Bank is committed to providing financial assistance to customers who are facing challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic and national disasters.

Application Open: Now until 31 July 2022

The extended Financial Management and Resilience (URUS) Programme by Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) is a payment relief assistance programme for customers in the B50 segment whose flood relief assistance programme expires between 1 April 2022 and 31 July 2022.

Customers may apply for URUS upon the expiry of their existing Alliance Bank flood relief assistance programme or until 31 July 2022, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applies to customers in the B50 segment who have an existing payment relief assistance package (e.g. Payment Relief Assistance, PEMERKASA Plus, PEMULIH, bank’s own rescheduling and restructuring, etc.) as of 30 September 2021; and
  • Have an existing Alliance Bank flood relief assistance package that will expire between 1 April 2022 and 31 July 2022.
  • Have a gross household income of RM5,880 or less per month.
  • Experienced either loss of employment or reduction of income of at least 50%.
  • Have a performing loan/financing that is not in arrears exceeding 90 days as of the date of the URUS application.

Under the URUS package, customers may opt for:
  • 3-month interest/profit waiver OR
  • 3-month interest/profit waiver and reduced instalments for up to 24 months
 

Please note that the Bank will verify your URUS application before submitting it to AKPK for further action. AKPK or the Bank will inform you of the status of your application.

 

1 Customers with gross household income of RM5,880 or lower, based on the definition by the Department of Statistics of Malaysia (DOSM). Evidence of household income will be required for customers who are not registered recipients of Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) or Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR).

 

How to Apply For URUS

  • 50%

Any ONE (1) of the following supporting documents:
  • Salary slip/payment voucher (latest month for 2022 and ANY ONE month between January and March 2020) OR
  • EPF Statement (Statement for 2020 and 2021) OR
  • Income tax submission for assessment years 2019, 2020 or 2021
 

Please note that the Bank will verify your URUS application before submitting it to AKPK for further action. AKPK or the Bank will inform you of the status of your application.
