A PRA is a payment assistance package made available to any of the Bank’s customer who is facing financial difficulties due to the pandemic.

One of these packages is the “Targeted Repayment Assistance” (TRA), which is offered to eligible customers in the B40, M40 and Micro Enterprise segments and those who have lost their job or their income reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  1. Am I eligible for PRA?
    Yes, you are eligible for PRA if you have an existing loan/financing facility(ies) with us, and your source of income has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Your loan/financing facility(ies) must not be in arrears exceeding 90 days on the date of application.
     
  2. Who will be eligible for TRA?
    You can apply for TRA if you are a:
    1. B40 individual who is a recipient of the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) / Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR)

      or
    2. M40 individual who is registered in the Bantuan Prihatin Nasional database

      and
    3. whose household incomes have been reduced due to the pandemic.
       
    Note:
    Only customers whose loans/financing are approved before 1 October 2020 and not in arrears for more than 90 days will be eligible.
     
  3. How do I apply for PRA?

  4. Will the application for PRA affect my credit rating in the Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS) report by Bank Negara Malaysia?
    Your application for our PRA will not be reflected in your CCRIS record if you have successfully applied by 30 June 2021.
     
  5. When should I apply for PRA?
    Please apply for PRA as soon as possible, latest by 15 June 2021.

  6. I have recently lost my job and no longer have any source of income. How do I apply for the PRA?
    Please complete the declaration form and e-mail to info@alliancefg.com with any one of the following documents:
    • Letter of retrenchment/termination from your employer; or
    • Any other relevant supporting documentation as proof of loss of income.

  7. I experienced a reduction in my household income due to a job pay cut. How do I apply for the PRA?

  8. I did not enroll for the 6-months automatic moratorium programme. Am I still eligible to apply for the PRA?
    Yes, you can apply for PRA if you face financial difficulties in servicing your monthly commitments. Please leave us your contact details here or click here to get in touch with us via WhatsApp.

     
  9. What are the short-term benefits of getting a PRA?
    You can reduce your monthly instalments to ease your immediate financial commitments.

    More importantly, the PRA application will not be reflected in your CCRIS report as Rescheduled and Restructured (R&R) for those successfully approved before 30 June 2021.

    Note: Even though the PRA is not recorded, if your loan/financing facility(ies) is in arrears and/or if your payments are not up-to-date, your CCRIS records will indicate these incidents as missed payments.
     
  10. Are there any long-term implications in getting a PRA that I should be aware of?
    With PRA, your loan/financing tenure will be extended. This means you will take a longer time to pay off your loan/financing and incur additional or increase overall financing costs.
     
  11. Why should I take up PRA?
    PRA provides relief to the financial challenges you are facing.
    • You can shore up your funds for unexpected costs
    • You can extend your loan/financing tenure to ease your cash flow by rescheduling/ restructuring your loan/financing facility(ies).
       
  12. Do I need to sign/ execute any agreement/document if I accept the PRA?
    Yes, you are required to sign an Agreement/Letter of Offer/Declaration Form indicating your acceptance and send it to us.

    This may be done either via e-email or through a phone-binding conversation for Personal Loan/Financing.
     
  13. Do I need to make payment for my loan / financing while waiting for the outcome of my PRA?
    Yes, you are required to continue to make payment while waiting for the outcome of your PRA application.
     
  14. I do not know which PRA package I should take up.
    We have a few PRA packages available to help ease your financial commitments:
    • For B40 Individuals
      Option 1: 3-month deferment of monthly instalment
      Option 2: 50% reduction in monthly instalment for 6 months
    • For M40 Individuals
      50% reduction in monthly instalment for 6 months
    • For Personal loan/financing and Hire Purchase/-i products
      Lower monthly instalment for 6 months with tenure extension for 6 months (step-up instalments).
    • For Mortgage loan/financing products
      Lower monthly instalment for 60 months with tenure extension for 60 months (step-up instalments)

  15. I don’t think that the economy will improve this year. Should I approach the bank for a longer tenure extension on my existing PRA?
    In addition to our PRA packages mentioned in item 14, we can tailor a loan/financing instalment best suited to your financial situation under the PRA.

    It is important to remember that you will incur higher overall financing costs by extending your existing PRA package’s tenure.

  16. Can I settle off my loan/financing in full/terminate the PRA earlier than the expected tenure should my financial situation improves?
    When your financial situation improves, you may settle your loan or terminate the PRA earlier. This would reduce your overall debt and financing costs. Please call our Collections Team at 03-5516 9000 to discuss new payment terms.
     
  17. Are there alternative options if my application for the PRA is not approved?
    You can seek assistance from Agensi Kaunseling & Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) at 03-2616 7766 or visit their website for more information at www.akpk.org.my
     
  18. What is the difference between PRA packages with equal instalment option vs step-up instalment options option?
    Equal instalments option are PRA packages that require you to pay the same instalment amount throughout the loan/financing tenure.

    On the other hand, the step-up instalments option offers lower monthly instalments initially. Only in later months will you need to pay a higher instalment as the remaining amount is adjusted (increased) befitting your facility’s remaining tenure.

  1. What is an insurance/takaful for Payment Relief Assistance (“PRA”)?
    The Bank’s partner insurer offers insurance/takaful coverage for PRAs at affordable and reasonable rates for your loan protection.
     
  2. Who can apply for the coverage?
    You can apply for coverage if you are already enrolled in the PRA programme with an existing insurance/takaful plan.
     
  3. Why should I take up the insurance/takaful for Payment Relief Assistance (“PRA”)?
    When you register for PRA, the original terms of the existing credit insurance/takaful plan for such loans/financing may be insufficient to cover the revised payment schedules.

    This insurance/takaful coverage is to help protect you against insufficient coverage.
     
  4. If I do not have an existing credit insurance/takaful plan, can I apply for this coverage?
    No, this insurance/takaful coverage is designed to address potential insufficient coverage for an existing credit insurance/takaful plan. This may be due to the deferment of loans/financing payment under the PRA offered by the Bank.
     
  5. How do I apply for the insurance/takaful for Payment Relief Assistance (“PRA”)?
    It’s super easy!

    Step 1: Get a quotation.

    Step 2: Fill up the application form provided to you by Contact Centre.

    Step 3: Make payment to effect the insurance/takaful plan.

    Step 4: Email the completed application form together with the proof of payment to info@alliancefg.com">info@alliancefg.com.

    Note: A copy of your MyKAD may be requested.
     
  6. How much does the insurance/takaful for Payment Relief Assistance (“PRA”) coverage cost?
    The premium/takaful contribution of the insurance/takaful coverage is reasonable and affordable. The Bank does not charge any commission on this.

    The premium/takaful contribution is computed based on several factors:
    • Your age on date of application
    • The length of the extended tenure
    • The total sum of coverage required
       
    The single premium/takaful contribution ranges from RM1.36 to RM17,105.00, depending on your age, sum insured and remaining loan/financing tenure and product (housing/personal loan/financing).

  7. I received a letter about Credit Insurance/Takaful Coverage for my loan/financing facility(ies). What am I supposed to do?
    If you would like to increase your insurance/takaful coverage, please call Contact Centre at 03–5516 9988 for a quotation.

    Otherwise, no action is required, and you can continue with your existing plan with us.
     
  8. Would this credit insurance/takaful coverage be automatically increased in line with the deferment amount and extended tenure of my loan/financing?
    No. Please contact Contact Centre at 03–5516 9988 for a discussion.
     
  9. Is it compulsory to purchase the insurance/takaful coverage due to the Covid-19 payment deferment and/or Payment Relief Assistance (“PRA”)?
    No. This coverage is optional.

    However, we strongly encourage you to take up the additional coverage to safeguard your next of kin.

    In the event of mishaps, your insurance/takaful provider will fully settle the outstanding loan/financing on your behalf.
     
  10. What are the Terms and Conditions tied to the insurance/takaful coverage?
    The insurance/takaful coverage is subject to the following:
    1. Sum Insured
      Minimum Sum Insured RM1,000
      Maximum Sum Insured Housing Loan/Financing: RM100,000

      Personal Loan/Financing: RM200,000
    2. Tenure Coverage
      Minimum Tenure 1 year
      Maximum Tenure Housing Loan/Financing: 35 years

      Personal Loan/Financing: 7 years
    3. Entry / Expiry Age
      Maximum Entry age Housing Loan/Financing
      60 years (Age Next Birthday)

      Personal Loan/Financing
      59 years (Age Next Birthday)
      Expiry Age Housing Loan/Financing
      70 years (Age Next Birthday)

      Personal Loan/Financing
      60 years (Age Next Birthday)
    4. Subject to insurance/takaful health underwriting and approval.
    5. Limited offer ends 30 June 2021 or until further notice.
       
  11. I am 61 years old. Am I eligible to purchase the additional coverage?
    No. You will not be eligible as the maximum entry age is 60 for housing loan/financing and 59 for personal loan/financing.
     
  12. My loan/financing tenure has been extended for 6 months. Am I eligible to purchase additional coverage for 6 months tenure?
    No. The minimum tenure is one (1) year.
     
  13. Who are your insurer/takaful providers?
    Our insurer/takaful providers are:
    • Manulife Insurance Berhad
    • Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Berhad
       
  14. I have pre-existing health conditions. Can I still apply?
    Yes. The application is subject to the insurance/takaful provider’s underwriting and approval.
     
  15. Can the premium/takaful contribution for the additional coverage be included in the loan/financing sum?
    No. The single premium payment/takaful contribution can only be made via Interbank Giro (“IBG”)/Bank Transfer.

    We do not accept payment with a credit card.
     
  16. When should I make payment for the premium/takaful contribution?
    Please make immediate payment as the coverage will commence once the payment is received by the insurer/takaful provider.
     
  17. What is the offer period of the additional coverage?
    The product is offered for a limited time only and ends on 30 June 2021.
     

PRA adalah pakej bantuan pembayaran untuk pelanggan Bank yang menghadapi masalah kewangan akibat wabak COVID-19.

Salah satu pakej yang ditawarkan oleh Bank ialah "Bantuan Pembayaran Bersasar" (TRA) yang ditawarkan kepada pelanggan yang memenuhi syarat dan termasuk dalam kategori B40, M40 dan segmen Perusahaan Mikro yang mengalami kehilangan pekerjaan atau pengurangan pendapatan akibat daripada wabak COVID-19.

 

  1. Adakah saya layak menerima PRA?
    Ya, anda layak mendapatkan PRA jika anda mempunyai kemudahan pinjaman/pembiayaan bersama kami, dan sumber pendapatan anda telah terjejas akibat wabak COVID-19.

    Kemudahan pinjaman/pembiayaan anda tidak boleh tertunggak melebihi 90 hari pada tarikh permohonan.
     
  2. Siapakah yang layak menerima TRA?
    Anda boleh memohon TRA sekiranya anda seorang:
    1. Individu B40 yang merupakan penerima Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH)/Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR)

      atau
    2. Individu dalam kategori M40 yang didaftarkan dalam pangkalan data Bantuan Prihatin Nasional

      dan
    3. pendapatan isi rumah anda berkurang akibat wabak ini.
       
    Catatan:
    Hanya pelanggan yang pinjaman/pembiayaannya diluluskan sebelum 1 Oktober 2020 dan tidak tertunggak selama lebih daripada 90 hari sahaja yang layak.

  9. Apakah faedah jangka pendek untuk mendapatkan PRA?
    Anda boleh mengurangkan ansuran bulanan anda sekarang untuk mengurangkan komitmen kewangan.

    Lebih penting lagi, permohonan PRA anda tidak akan dimasukkan dalam laporan CCRIS anda sebagai Penjadualan dan Penstrukturan Semula (R&R) bagi permohonan yang telah diluluskan setakat 30 Jun 2021.

    Sila ambil maklum bahawa walaupun PRA tidak direkodkan tetapi jika pinjaman/kemudahan pembiayaan anda tertunggak dan/atau pembayaran lambat, ia masih akan ditunjukkan dalam rekod CCRIS anda sebagai pembayaran yang tidak/lewat dijelaskan.
     
  10. Apa implikasi jangka panjang PRA yang harus saya ketahui?
    Dengan PRA, tempoh pinjaman/pembiayaan anda akan dilanjutkan. Ini bermaksud anda akan mengambil masa yang lebih lama untuk melunaskan pinjaman/pembiayaan anda dan menanggung tambahan atau kenaikan keseluruhan kos pembiayaan.
     
  11. Mengapa saya digalakkan untuk mengambil PRA?
    PRA membantu anda menghadapi cabaran kewangan yang anda sedang hadapi.
    • Anda dapat menyimpan dana anda untuk kos yang tidak dijangka
    • Anda dapat memanjangkan jangka waktu pinjaman/pembiayaan anda untuk meringankan aliran tunai anda dengan cara penjadualan semula/penstrukturan semula kemudahan pinjaman/pembiayaan anda.
       
  12. Adakah saya perlu menandatangani / membuat sebarang perjanjian / dokumen sekiranya saya menerima PRA?
    Ya, anda diminta untuk menandatangani Perjanjian/Surat Tawaran/Borang Akuan yang menunjukkan penerimaan anda dan menghantarnya kepada bank.

    Ada masanya, ini boleh dilakukan melalui e-mel atau melalui perbualan telefon untuk pinjaman/pembiayaan peribadi.
     
  13. Adakah saya perlu membuat pembayaran untuk pinjaman / pembiayaan saya sementara menunggu permohonan PRA diluluskan?
    Ya, anda diminta untuk terus membuat pembayaran sementara menunggu permohonan PRA anda diluluskan.
     
  14. Saya tidak tahu pakej PRA yang mana harus saya ambil.
    Kami mempunyai beberapa pakej PRA yang tersedia untuk membantu mengurangkan komitmen kewangan anda:
    • Untuk Individu dalam kategori B40
      Pilihan 1: Penangguhan ansuran bulanan selama 3 bulan
      Pilihan 2: Pengurangan ansuran bulanan sebanyak 50% selama 6 bulan
    • Untuk Individu dalam kategori M40

      50% pengurangan ansuran bulanan selama 6 bulan.
    • Untuk pinjaman / pembiayaan peribadi dan produk Sewa Beli /-i

      Ansuran bulanan lebih rendah selama 6 bulan dengan lanjutan tempoh selama 6 bulan (ansuran bertingkat).
    • Untuk produk pinjaman / pembiayaan Gadai/-i janji
      Ansuran bulanan lebih rendah selama 60 bulan dengan lanjutan tempoh selama 60 bulan (ansuran bertingkat).
       
    Sekiranya kemudahan anda dengan kami tidak termasuk dalam kategori di atas dan memerlukan bantuan disebabkan keadaan kewangan anda, sila tinggalkan butiran diri anda di sini atau klik di sini untuk menghubungi kami melalui WhatsApp bagi membincangkan pilihan pembayaran bulanan anda.
     
  15. Saya berpendapat ekonomi tidak akan bertambah baik tahun ini. Perlukah saya menghubungi bank untuk melanjutkan tempoh PRA?
    Sebagai tambahan kepada pakej PRA yang disebutkan dalam item 14, kami boleh menawarkan ansuran pinjaman/pembiayaan yang sesuai mengikut situasi kewangan anda di bawah PRA.

    Walaubagaimanapun, penting untuk diingatkan bahawa anda akan menanggung kos pembiayaan keseluruhan yang lebih tinggi apabila memanjangkan tempoh pakej PRA yang ada.

  16. Bolehkah saya melunaskan pinjaman / pembiayaan saya sepenuhnya / menamatkan PRA lebih awal daripada tempoh jangkaan sekiranya keadaan kewangan saya bertambah baik?
    Apabila keadaan kewangan anda bertambah baik, anda boleh menyelesaikan pinjaman anda atau menamatkan PRA lebih awal. Ini akan mengurangkan keseluruhan hutang dan kos pembiayaan anda.   17. Adakah saya mempunyai pilihan alternatif sekiranya permohonan untuk PRA tidak dluluskan?
    Anda boleh mendapatkan bantuan daripada Agensi Kaunseling & Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) di talian 03-2616 7766 atau kunjungi laman web mereka untuk maklumat lebih lanjut di www.akpk.org.my
     
  18. Apakah perbezaan antara pakej PRA dengan pilihan ansuran yang sama (equal instalment) berbanding pilihan ansuran bertingkat (step-up)?
    Pilihan ansuran yang sama (equal instalments) adalah pakej PRA yang memerlukan anda membayar jumlah ansuran yang sama sepanjang tempoh pinjaman / pembiayaan.

    Sebaliknya, pilihan ansuran bertingkat (step up) adalah ansuran bulanan yang dapat dikurangkan untuk jangka waktu yang lebih pendek. Selepas itu, ansuran bulanan diubah (dinaikkan) kepada ansuran yang sama dan akan dibayar sepanjang baki tempoh kemudahan anda.
