Ever Wonder What Working Life Will Be?

Students, this is for you! Explore an internship at Alliance Bank where we will provide you a first-hand experience working with a local financial institution. With us, you will gain industry insights and exposure in multiple departments. You will have the opportunity to improve your communication skills, self-discipline, and time management skills.

At Alliance Bank, you can opt for ad-hoc internship application or be part of our annual Structured Internship Programme.

Our Ad-hoc internship is for students who would like to intern during their semester break or if required by their college/university. In this programme, students will be exposed to actual work scenarios from work shadowing and on-the-job training.

Our 10-week structured internship programme offers interns hands on working experience and valuable exposure to real working environment. Our intake period is between July to September. The internship programme serves as a solid platform in reaching out to students and graduates with calibre and interest to pursue careers in the financial services industry. We also leverage on this platform to identify potential talents among final year students for our Alliance Bank Management Trainee (ABMT) programme.

Journey of Exposure Begins

SIP kicks off with an induction session for interns, followed by a 9-week attachment with the Alliance Islamic Bank assigned business and function such as Group Consumer Banking, Group SME Banking, Corporate / Commercial Banking, and some of the support function such as credit and risk management, Information Technology, Operations, Finance, and Human Resource at Head Office. You will be assigned to assist in short-term business-related projects while gaining knowledge about the banking industry.

Aside from assigned business attachment, you will participate in a week of non-attachment activities which provides different exposure and challenges such as career talks from business leaders, branch visits and group case studies.
