Alliance Privilege Property Investment Talk and Dinner - 28 August 2008 at G Hotel, Penang.

The property investment talk which was held at the ballroom of G Hotel, a new boutique hotel in Penang kicked off to an overwhelming response. The event was graced by four guest speakers and business partners and was attended by a total of 150 of our esteemed Alliance Privilege customers. It was the first Micro Marketing Event in 2008 organised by Alliance Privilege for customers in the Northern region. The objective of the event was to educate and equip our customers with the knowledge on property investment.

Liew Swee Lin, the Head of Consumer Banking, in her opening address highlighted the need to diversify one's cash holding into various investment instruments to hedge against the increase in inflation and other economic adversity. Property investment or REIT funds is one of the best options in this regard.

Our guest speakers, En Azizi Ali, author of "Money and Personal Finance Malaysia", Dr Teoh Poh Huat, Director of Henry Butcher Malaysia (Penang) Sdn Bhd, Ms Daisy Ooi, Group Managing Director, Hunza Properties Bhd, and Mr. Michael Ong, Architect for Setia Promenade Sdn Bhd. shared their valuable experience and expertise in making millions from property investment, the outlook of Penang's property market and gave us a sneak peak of the current hottest and best-selling high-end properties in Penang.

Lotus Arte Gallery extended their invitation to our Privilege Banking customers to share the joy of witnessing the creation of “Protoforms” by C. N. Liew on 24 April 2008.

The guest of honour, Deputy Minister of National Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage, Mr. Teng Boon Soon officiated the event. The event was also attended by YBhg. Puan Sri Chelsia Cheng and YBhg. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. M. Mahadevan.

A total of 90 valued guests of Lotus Arte and Alliance Privilege customers turned up for the preview. One lucky draw winner took home a personalised art piece by C. N. Liew.

Alliance Privilege Wine Appreciation Dinner was held on 4 April 2008 at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort.

The dinner was jointly hosted by Alliance Privilege and Tropicana Golf & Country Resort.

A total of 110 high-end bungalow owners and Privilege Banking customers turned up for the dinner. They were entertained by a 3-piece band and went home with new-found knowledge on the art of wine appreciation.
