To provide more freedom of movement for the physically challenged and serve the ever-increasing financial demands of consumers
Monday, 6 July 2009, Kuala Lumpur - Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (Alliance Bank) as part of its corporate responsibility to the community, and meeting the ever increasing demands of its consumers, designed and built its newly-opened branch in Taman Nusa Bestari, Johore to include a concrete ramp to provide wheelchair users and the physically challenged easy accessibility into the premises.
"We recognise that it is important for the physically challenged to be provided with the same level of access that our other customers enjoy. In line with living our brand promise of Banking Made Personal and forming part of our corporate responsibility initiatives to the community, we decided that it is imperative to enhance the mobility and independence of physically challenged customers in wheelchairs.
We have also ensured that the concrete ramp built at our branch is in a strategic location which is right by the road to ensure that it is easily accessible upon disembarking from their respective vehicles", said Datuk Bridget Lai, Group Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank and Director of Alliance Financial Group Berhad.
This branch is located at No 1-G & 1-01, Jalan Bestari 6/2, Taman Nusa Bestari, Skudai, Johor.
In early May 2009, moving towards strengthening its branch presence, Kota Damansara Branch which is located at 7G & 9G, Jalan PJU 5/2, Pusat Bandar Damansara, PJU 5, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya was officially opened.
This was also followed with the opening of the remodelled Seremban branch which now houses a Privilege Banking Centre, a further reflection of the Bank's commitment to the thriving and booming local community. Covering an area of 7,250 sq ft, it is located at 1G-1-1, Arab Malaysian Business Centre, Jalan Tuanku Munawir, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and this new Privilege Banking Centre constitutes the 20th in Alliance Bank's Privilege Banking Centres.
All the above-mentioned branches offer a full suite of consumer and Islamic products and is equipped with Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Cash Deposit Machines and Cheque Express Services in the 24-hour e-banking lobby.
To further ensure that customers with children have a pleasant banking experience at Alliance Bank, our branches are equipped with a Kids' Corner for children to keep themselves occupied with the numerous toys and games provided.
To-date, the Alliance Financial Group has a total of 102 branches nationwide.
