Concept Store Raises Bar On Personalised Service and Lifestyle Lounge

The new Alliance Personal Concept Store in Sunway Pyramid encapsulates innovative banking within the community.

Bandar Sunway, Selangor, 5 February 2009 - Welcoming the new year with a great start, Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (Alliance Bank) recently unveiled a revolutionary banking convenience: Alliance Personal Concept Store located in Sunway Pyramid. The concept store is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia, and is set up to ensure that personalised financial service is taken to the next level for the Bank's customers, thus fulfilling the Bank's creed of "Banking Made Personal".

"It's all about connecting with our customers, which is the heart and soul of our banking relationship. Upon signing up at Alliance Personal Concept Store, customers are assigned a dedicated Personal Financial Consultant who will be on hand to advice and manage their unique financial needs befitting their lifestyle," said Datuk Bridget Lai, Group Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Bank and Director of Alliance Financial Group Berhad.

"We believe that with this new retail feature, our new concept store will generate wide attention and garner firm support from our customers. With greater exposure to technology, we are set to bringing our customers to another level of product innovation. The light retail concept store is one of the head start projects that Alliance Bank is embarking on, and we are positive that it will create a different banking experience for our customers."

Spanning a modest 505 square feet in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre (Sunway Pyramid), Alliance Personal Concept Store raises the bar on personalised service whereupon their customers may drop by and have a cup of hot beverage while enjoying complimentary access to Alliance's ONEPAY terminals to settle their bill payments, ticketing, mobile phone reloads and many more. There is also a full suite of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) and Cheque Express Service (CES) for the customers' transactional banking convenience, and PlayStation 3 to pass the time.

Going beyond normal banking hours to cater for customers' banking convenience, Alliance Personal Concept Store's hours are from 10.00am to 10.00pm, including weekends at the light retail concept store.

"While Alliance Personal Concept Store may not offer the full range of products and services found in the usual bank branches, we are confident that our customers will find the convenience and the personalised service a refreshing take on personalised service," added Datuk Lai.

The Alliance Personal Concept Store at Sunway Pyramid is located at G1.96(A) (Ground floor - Old Wing), 3 Jalan PJ 11/15 Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, 46150 Selangor. The concept store is managed by Sales Manager Benson Wong, and his team of dedicated personal financial consultants.
