Kuala Lumpur, 19 August 2008 - Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (Alliance Bank) today hosted a morning high-tea session for the community of Bandar Park in conjunction with the official opening of its second branch in the Old Klang Road vicinity.

At over 5,800 square feet, the new RM1.5 million Jalan Mega Mendung branch will provide the community with mass market and consumer financial products and service offerings in addition to the top-notch facilities and amenities which include a 24-hour e-lobby and a Kid's Corner where children can engage in fun activities while their parents conduct their banking.

Located at 116, Jalan Mega Mendung, Bandar Park, off Jalan Kelang Lama, the new branch aims to cater to the financial needs of the mass market segment. SME customers at Mega Mendung branch will be served by the Bank's Business Centre in Kuchai Entrepreneur Park. At present, Alliance Bank has a team of over 250 people serving the SME/commercial community nationwide at its 26 Business Centres. Alliance Bank hopes to reach out to a wider cross section of customers, particularly in an area that is densely populated in terms commercial and residential activities.
