She said with medical inflation contributing to the increasing trend in healthcare expenditure, there is growing awareness of the need for insurance as a source of sustainable financing in the long term for healthcare and retirement.

Alliance FutureCare Series with Critical Illness not only offers full refund of premiums paid on maturity of policy but also gives extra cash reward of 24 per cent of the total premiums paid, depending on the cover tenure. It is also designed to make premium affordable from as low as RM75 per month.

It also provides insurance benefits in which sum assured is payable in the event of death, total and permanent disability or diagnosis of the any of the 36 covered critical illnesses.
