ALLIANCE BANK LAUNCHES ALLIANCE LEGACY, ESTATE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO COMPLEMENT ITS WEALTH MANAGEMENT RANGE

29 April 2004, Kuala Lumpur – Alliance Bank today launched Alliance Legacy, Will Writing and estate management services to complement its range of wealth management product and services for its customers.

The launch of Alliance Legacy also saw the partnership between Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad, Alliance Trustee Berhad and Integrated Wills Services Sdn Bhd (IWS) in a tripartite signing ceremony. Hellen Fong, Alliance Bank’s General Manager of Wealth Management, Teow Leong Wah, Director of Alliance Trustee Berhad and Robinson Pan, IWS’s Vice-President & Executive Director were the signatories at the ceremony.

Fong of Alliance Bank said, “Alliance Bank through strategic partnerships provides a comprehensive range of wealth protection and wealth generation products to meet the needs of its customers. We are pleased to partner with IWS and Alliance Trustee Berhad, who are experts in their respective fields, to offer Will Writing and estate management services to our customers through our newly launched product, Alliance Legacy.”

At the same time, they will be pleased with the affordability of the Will Writing services at a One Fixed Fee of RM380 regardless of asset value or number of clauses. Alliance Legacy makes it easy and convenient to provide a legacy for your loved ones.”

Speaking on behalf of Alliance Trustee, Teow said that he is confident of the win-win partnership as the Bank, IWS and Alliance Trustee can then tap on each other’s strengths. He says, ”The strategic partnership will allow us to capitalise on the Bank’s well developed branch network and customer base while the Bank will be able to cross sell financial products to generate extra revenue. The Bank’s customers will have access to a full range of Alliance Trustee custodial, executorship and administrative services at very competitive rates.”

Alliance Legacy provides the customer with flexible options to either sign up for the Wills Writing services only or sign up for both Will Writing and trustee services. Through Alliance Legacy, customers can appoint Alliance Trustee as their Executor to ensure quick and proper distribution of their assets in accordance to their wishes. Alternatively the customer can opt to set up an Alliance Legacy Trust, which provides asset protection from creditors, administration of assets for minors, elderly parents, physically and mentally challenged children and administration of charities.

For a start, Alliance Legacy will be distributed at Alliance Bank branches in Klang Valley and at all branches nationwide from August onwards.
