Joined as a Director of Alliance Bank and Alliance Investment Bank on 19 July 2005. She was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of the Alliance Financial Group (formerly known as Alliance Banking Group) with effect from 1 September 2005.
Prior to her appointment at Alliance Financial Group, Datuk Lai was attached to a leading multinational Bank for a considerable period and has extensive experience in most aspects of commercial banking. She was the Country Head of Consumer and SME Banking Malaysia prior to an international posting with the same bank asthe Global Head of Distribution. Her key responsibilities included Branch Channel and alternative channels of Sales and Service distribution & International Banking.
She holds a Master of Business Administration degree (with Distinction) from the University of Hull, United Kingdom and is a Certified Financial Planner. She is also a member of the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries. She also sits on the Board of Alliance Financial Group Berhad (formerly known as Malaysian Plantations Berhad). |

Mr Philip Goh has been with the Bank since 2001 and was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer on 1 October 2005. He is responsible for Group Finance, Strategic Planning and Capital Management.
Mr Goh qualified as an accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He possesses extensive experience in finance and strategic planning having worked with major corporations in Malaysia and Indonesia. He was a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Diperdana Holdings Berhad. His other appointments included positions in Malaysian Tobacco Company Berhad, Arab-Malaysian Insurance Berhad, and an Indonesian conglomerate. |

Mr Wong Chee Seng was appointed the Head of Corporate Planning and Investor Relations on 1 November 2007. He was the former Head of Research for Kuala Lumpur City Securities (KLCS) prior to the merger with Alliance Merchant Bank Berhad to become Alliance Investment Bank Berhad.
Mr Wong holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, United States. Prior to joining Alliance Financial Group, Mr Wong was with Khazanah Nasional as a Fellow in Research and Investment Strategy. He was also previously with ECM Libra Securities as the Chief Economist and a Senior Treasury Economist/Regional Strategist with DBS Bank, Singapore. |
