To safeguard you, the user of Alliance Bank s allianceonline PERSONAL service, against known Identity theft scheme such as phishing, pharming, key-logging and man in the middle, the bank has implemented 2-Factor authentication technology with your computer as a second factor authentication device.

When the GRID Authenticator toolbar indicates GREEN for all genuine Alliance Bank's websites and any of your registered accessing computers as a second factor authentication device, allianceonline will provide the assurance you need to access your Alliance Bank s accounts and banking services with complete security.

1. Download and install the GRID Authenticator
   
   From your Internet connected PC, download and install the GRID Authenticator for indication of genuine Alliance Bank websites

2. 1st time 2-Factor registration process
   
   If your ID is enable for 2 factor authentication and have not register with GRID, during your login process to allianceonline PERSONAL, a page prompting for a Device Management Code (DMC) will appear. Enter a 6 characters alphanumeric passcode and click on the confirm button to complete the registration process.
   
   
3. Register another computer as a Registered device
   
   
   1. At your first or previously Registered Computer,
      
      1. Login to allianceonline and login to the Device Management Service with your Device Management Code (DMC)
      2. Click on the Create button to issue yourself a Registration Code* that is valid for 7 days
         
   2. At the computer you wish to register for access, download and install the GRID Authenticator

   3. After GRID Authenticator installation, login and submit your login information as normal, allianceonline will detect and prompt you for a Registration Code to register the computer. Key in the Registration Code* that you have created earlier as per step 3)i)b).
