Alliance Partnership held their teambuilding getaway at Taman Pertanian Malaysia, Shah Alam. The participants started their day tackling the exciting Skytex Adventure and then moved on to 23 challenges of different levels of difficulty such as climbing a 17m high platform, experiencing the Flying Fox and making the Zig-Zag crossing.

East Malaysia Regional Office organised its Family Day at Tanjung Aru Beach Resort in Kota Kinabalu. It was a fun-filled day with lots of food and a variety of games for the staff and family. To inculcate an environment-friendly culture, a beach cleaning competition was even held!

100 staff consisting of 85 men and 15 women from across all levels in AFG took part in the league which kicked started on 31 Oct 2008 and ended in January 2009. These impressive numbers only complement the priceless moments and bonds shared among all.

As part of the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing (AMLATF) annual training plan for AFG, the Group Legal & Compliance and Group Provisional Learning divisions organised a two-day conference to highlight the latest trends in money laundering and the financing of terrorism. Participants were reminded that as employees of the Group, it is their responsibility to report and assist to combat the global issue.

A team of the Bank's staff went on a gruelling three-day hiking and climbing adventure which involved months of preparations and strong presence of mind to conquer the highest peak in Malaysia. The team demonstrated the Bank's core value of resilience during the expedition with their strong team spirit, determination and discipline seeing them through to the end of their expedition.
