  Alliance Personal (“AP”) Services and Privileges
Term and Conditions
   
  All AP customer(s) shall be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein. In these Terms and Conditions, “you” refers to you, your joint account holder or your authorised person who are AP customer(s) of Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad (“Bank”).
   
1. Membership
 
You will need to meet our eligibility criteria(s) to become an AP customer, as revised from time to time by the Bank at its sole absolute discretion. Your admission to the AP membership is at the Bank’s discretion.
   
2. AP Services and Privileges
 

AP services and privileges shall be governed by the Terms and Conditions applicable to such services. The Bank may vary, suspend, withdraw or terminate any or all of the services under AP at any time without assigning any reason thereof. 2.1 Privileged Solutions
  From time to time the Bank may introduce to you other AP privileges and services provided by third parties. Any services provided by third parties are subject to their terms and conditions and the Bank will not be liable for any losses whatsoever that you may incur in connection with such services.
   
2.2 VISA/MasterCard Credit Card Annual Fee Waiver
  The Bank at its absolute discretion will offer complimentary VISA/MasterCard Platinum credit card subject to the Bank’s credit assessment. The annual fee waiver is extended throughout the duration of your AP membership. Upon termination of AP membership, the Bank’s prevailing annual fee for credit card will be charged to you accordingly.
   
2.3 Privilege Banking Teller Services
  You can effect your deposit and/or withdrawal and/or remittance transactions at any Bank’s Teller counter with express queue lane.
   
2.4 Commission and Stamp Duty
  The Bank may waive all commission and stamp duty on Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad’s cheques, traveler’s cheques, cashier’s orders and demand drafts intended for AP customer’s personal utilisation and not otherwise. This waiver (where applicable) shall only be granted on initial issuance and not upon cancellation and/ or reissuance and/ or for subsequent issuance (whether for the same beneficiary or otherwise) and/ or clearance.
   
2.5 Safe Deposit Boxes
  Priority on rental and discount on annual fee will be given to member subject to availability. Bank reserves the right to vary or withdraw the discount on annual fee at any time.
   
2.6 Alliance Personal Platinum Debit Card
  You may be issued an Alliance Personal Platinum Debit Card upon opening of Hybrid Account.
Upon termination of membership, you have to surrender the Alliance Personal Platinum Debit Card and a Standard Debit Card will be issued to you and all the issuing fee and annual fee will be charged to you.
   
2.7 ATM Cash Withdrawal
  The default daily ATM cash withdrawal limit and Point of Sale (“POS”) Purchase Limit for Alliance Personal Platinum Debit Card is at RM3,000.00 and RM1,000.00 respectively. You have the option to increase the ATM withdrawal limit and POS limit up to RM5,000.00 per day and this can be changed manually at any ATMs of the Bank.

You can enjoy three (3) times per month nationwide MEPS ATM cash withdrawal fee waiver. The first three (3) transactions fee, i.e. RM1.00 (Local Bank Transaction) / RM4.00 (Locally Incorporated Foreign Bank Transaction) fee per transaction will be rebated monthly and automatically credited into any one of your current or savings account in the next ninety (90) days.
   
2.8 Non Margin Trading Account & Share Margin Financing
  You are entitled to waiver of Non Margin Trading Account opening administration fee and Share Margin Financing account opening administration fee for credit limit of RM250,000.00 and above.
   
3. Information
  You hereby agree and authorize the Bank to disclose to any person(s) in Malaysia including but not limited to companies within the group of the Bank any information about or with regard to you, your affairs and/or banking accounts for such purposes as the Bank deems fit or appropriate. Disclosure to the Bank’s group of companies which are involved in the promotion, sale, delivery and distribution of financial products and services shall be for facilitating the operations, businesses or cross-selling of the Bank and/or the Bank’s group of companies. Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing, the Bank acknowledges that (i) it shall not disclose my information to the group of companies which are residing, situated, carrying on business, incorporated or constituted within Malaysia for purposes of cross-selling if such disclosure is objected to by me; (ii) it shall only disclose my information (excluding information relating to my affairs or account) to third parties, including group of companies which are residing, situated, carrying on business, incorporated or constituted in Malaysia, for strategic alliances, marketing and promotional purposes, if you have expressly consented to such disclosure.
   
4. Change of Address
 

You shall promptly notify the Bank in writing of any changes in your mailing address.

   
5 Termination of AP Membership
 
5.1. You may terminate your AP membership by giving the Bank a written notice.
   
5.2. All AP services and privileges shall be terminated forthwith upon your death or bankruptcy.
   
5.3 AP membership is extended to you at the Bank’s absolute discretion and the Bank may cancel the AP membership at any time with prior notice to you.
   
6. Fees
  AP membership is subject to you meeting the Bank’s eligibility criteria. If the eligibility criteria(s) are not met, the Bank at its absolute discretion either:
 
 
(a) Impose a fee (which will be deducted from any of your account(s) with the Bank and you expressly authorise the Bank to do so); or
(b) (b) Downgrade your AP membership.
7. Indemnity
  You shall fully indemnify the Bank against all costs and expenses (including legal fees on an indemnity basis) incurred by the Bank in enforcing these Terms and Conditions and the recovery of any amounts due to the Bank or incurred by the Bank in any legal proceedings of whatsoever nature.
   
8. Waiver
  No waiver by the Bank in the enforcement of any of these Terms and Conditions shall prejudice the Bank’s right thereafter to strictly enforce the same.
   
9. Amendment of Terms and Conditions
  The Bank shall at its absolute discretion amend, add or delete the Terms and Conditions herein from time to time with prior notice to you and they shall become effective on such date as the Bank may elect to adopt. Notice of such amendments or additions may be effected by displaying at Bank’s premises or Bank’s website.
   
10 Governing Law
  These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Malaysian laws.
